When the project was first planned the Primary School was our main focus and the cost was estimated at $180,000. As the project developed we decided that safe, clean water and a grinding machine were integralto the overall plan.
By the time James went back to Sindiru in January 2015 Ausudan had raised $60,000. The two bore holes and the grinding machine cost $30,000 so we now have $30,000 as a start for the school.
We need another $150,000 – as long as the dollar remains relatively steady. With your help we know we can do it. Scholarships to train new teachers are in the process of being worked out.
