Our Immediate Goals

4 Years Of Teacher Salaries For Sindiru Primary School

According to UNICEF, 63% of teachers in South Sudan have no formal training and are rarely paid a regular wage. For this reason, Ausudan has employed four teachers from Uganda to come and teach at our school in Sindiru village. The reason is simple: teachers are better trained in Uganda. To accommodate the selected teachers, we have built six individual huts, and we are offering to pay them a regular and reasonable wage. Each year, we need to raise approximately $25,000 Australian dollars to cover these costs.

If you want to help us provide the children of Sindiru with the best education possible, please consider donating an amount towards this ongoing cost. Every donation helps us work toward a better future, and a regular donation (monthly) is even more helpful as it allows us to budget effectively.

An Outdoor Kitchen Facility To Cook Meals

Many of the children who will attend school may arrive with empty stomachs because their mothers cannot provide sufficient food for them. An outdoor kitchen that can offer porridge at the start of the day would be a precious gift to these children.

Infrastructure: Solar Panels, Water Tanks And Fencing For Sindiru Primary School

Solar panels, water tanks, and fencing around the school will provide significant advantages to both the school and the village residents. Fencing off the school's surrounding area is essential to prevent any unwanted development near the school. The practical and educational benefits of solar panels and water tanks are evident. Water can be utilized for drinking or irrigating crops grown on the school premises. Evening lighting not only enhances safety but also extends opportunities for studying.
